Forty-four:

44

Maybe it was just a dream.

Maybe we were all having a 

moment.

A global cultural nightmare.

Like the batteries to the remote 

failed.

Or it’s been lost in the couch 

for all this time...

Maybe some have been sleeping 

through out of preservation. 

Out of emotional necessity. 

Maybe. a dream...

Like when “JR” was in the shower...

Maybe we should shower more?
