“He was ordered
to acknowledge the English king
as head of the Church.
He declined and was martyred.”
Somehow a poem was once posted here
twice. The question is what happened
to the poem that was supposed to be here?
Should I assume it lost among my back
ups? Forever doomed to reside inside
a cache within a cloud? They were posted
and ordered as I wrote them when I wrote them.
If I decline to sift and sort we shall have
to assume it has given its life in defense of
my scattered brains and was martyred.
